Dinner and a Movie finally plays Stateside

Whoop! Dinner and a Movie is having it's North American Premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival & ShortFest on June 19th as a part of the featured screening and wonderfully titled 'Idiot's Delight' shorts programme. The description for the event is as follows - 

While ‘dumb as a box of rocks’ may not apply equally to all of the assorted heroes and heroines in this very funny collection of shorts, we’d be hard pressed to come up with something more fitting…

Dinner Officially Selected for Edinburgh Int FilmFest 2013

After a month of not being able to tell anyone due to a press embargo I am proud to announce that  Dinner and a Movie has been officially selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2013 as one of only four shorts in the Creative Skillset Film Academies program, with the overview 'Discover the British directors of tomorrow'! Dinner headed to Palm Springs 2013!

​What amazing news! Just found out my fifth term film from the London Film School, Dinner and a Movie, has just been selected for Palm Springs International Shortfest 2013. Time to book tickets! ...   ​and get a job to pay for those tickets...

'Dinner and a Movie' going to New Zealand, Germany.

​Wohoo! Just found out that 'Dinner and a Movie' has been officially selected for competition at two film festivals today!

​The 'Uni Shorts International Film Festival' is a New Zealand based student film festival being held on April 13-14 in Auckland. The programme also features the 'Career Comedian' by the unflappable Michael Dorgan, DP on 'Dinner'. I was camera operator on 'Comedian' and am really glad to see it getting a really solid festival run. Mike's shooting his grad film very soon, you can support it here.

​In addition we also got into the Monstronale Fest in Saale, Germany, which will be taking place April 5th-7th. 

The film will be up for competition in both. Fingers crossed!​

Dinner and a Movie snags Best Film, Comedy noms.

Good news everyone! Dinner and a Movie has just been nominated for BEST FILM, BEST COMEDY and BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN at the Screentest Student Film Festival. This marks the first award nominations for the film, which premiered at the London Short Film Festival last month. The awards should be in March, very much look forward to what the future brings for our little movie that could!
