Yay! He Took His Skin Off For Me was awarded Runner Up for the Alexis award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival & ShortFest this Sunday. Yes I could have gone with a better picture from the night, but I thought that was the sort of face that summed it all up. Congratulations to the entire Skin team and all the other wonderful winning films at the festival. We have a tonne more exciting bits of news we're not allowed to announce yet, but keep your eyes glued, we're almost certainly coming to a city near you!

Russian Roulette wins Jury Prize for Sundance London shorts competition
OH WOW. This is pretty amazing. 'Russian Roulette' won the Jury Prize for the Sundance London short competition... thingy. You can read about it here in ScreenDaily. The a theme of the competition was ‘Making a go of it’ which kind of sums up the whole film really! Writer Oli Fenton and I even found ourselves in the Evening Standard. All very odd indeed for a film we just made to let off some steam...
'Russian Roulette' premieres on 'Short of the Week'
So I went and made a little film while in extended pre-production on 'He Took His Skin Off For Me' which we just released online via Short of the Week. The film was written by mad genius Oli Fenton and stars comedian Bec Hill and the wonderful Stewart Lockwood as an astronaut on Chatroulette.com. We wanted to make something that was light and fun and that could test the water re. a fully online releases. Right now it seems to be doing pretty well!

Latest Music Video 'Polygonn' Released!
REALLY proud of this fun little video I directed with wild-man animator Nick Black for the Bishops new single 'Polygonn'-
The video is a hand drawn rotoscope animation composed of over 2,500 individual illustrations. Animator Nick Black spent over 6 months tracing each frame from the original live action footage onto paper in a technique called "rotoscoping" - with 12 drawings representing a second of footage. We then photographed these drawings and let them run in order to create the video you see here. We made a making-of here-

'Dinner and a Movie' selected for Rhode Island International Film Festival
Fantastic news!
'Dinner and a Movie' continues its grande tour! We've been officially selected for 'Flickers: The Rhode Island International Film Festival'!
This marks our 2nd US screening and our 2nd Oscar qualifying festival- meaning that if we win an award, 'Dinner' can be submitted for an academy award nomination! All very ridiculous and exciting!
I've been told that this early acceptance is a direct result of their enthusiasm for the film. Hooray!
